Middlesex sent a strong team to Northumberland for this weekend's Gold tournament and came away with three of the five titles.
Dinuka Karunaratne dominated the men's singles and won the title without dropping a game, beating Cheshire's Adam Dolman comfortably in the final 21-11, 21-16. Dinuka then teamed up with Robert Golding to win an all-Middlesex men's doubles final against Angus Pederson and Wai Lok Poon by a score of 21-11, 21-6. Dinuka and Robert didn't drop a game all tournament.
A third title for Middlesex was won by Angus Pedersen and Zoe Hallam in the mixed doubles, winning a thriller against Yorkshire's Nathan Rossiter and Katherine Arksey by a score of 21-16, 17-21, 25-23. Zoe also reached the semi finals of the women's doubles with Anne Hubscher of Worcestershire.
